WE ARE READY FOR ENGAGING WITH EXTERNAL USERS
If you are part of the scientific community involved in data storage and management, and are interested in testing the SAGE prototype, please get in touch with us at: email@example.com
We organized a workshop at HPDC’2021. We had speakers from CERN, CCFE, Intel(DAOS), Sage2 (Global Memory Abstraction, Motr & a use case). Was interesting to see common approaches taken by Intel/DAOS and us(CORTX/Sage2)
The Sage2 Global Memory Abstraction workshop was also organized this month as part of our “Hackathon” series.
The following deliverables were submitted:
Percipient storage final versions of validations of Mero/Motr components
Global Memory Abstraction: Final versions of validations
We had a couple of interesting talks at the CORTX meet an architect sessions. Great to engage with the CORTX community!
Sage2 will organize a series of hackathons/workshops to:
We have designed the hackathons to be open to select projects and communities for participation. We see this as new avenues for dissemination & community engagement during the pandemic!
We organized the first hackathon on Visualization tools and its usage by Sage2 applications which was very well received!
Sage2 is very pleased to collaborate with the IO-SEA project that will start soon. Many of the outcomes of Sage2 (GMA, CORTX/Motr, etc) will also be part of the IO-SEA project lead by CEA. IO-SEA projects starts in April 2021
The “MCP” tool which is a “Go” binding to work with the Motr API (Clovis) has been developed. This is a great addition to the existing tools to measure Sage2 performance. We intend to get more in depth performance numbers!
