The Sage2 ecosystem components support use cases and workflows in accessing the underlying interfaces along with their core features. Users can still directly interact with the Clovis I/O interface, but are supported in their activity by the high level APIs developed. As a result, the Sage2 ecosystem components are derived based on the requirement given by the use cases, while being informed by the available features at the core of the Sage2 platform.
In total, we have seven components. We divided them into two groups. The first group contains the external component integration, which includes the dCache connector to Mero, the high speed transfer interface and the resource aware scheduling. The second group contains the user support components and includes programming models, Tensorflow, performance analysis tools and I/O containers.
